Prior to this, virtually all prints (and engravings) were produced as illustrations to be included in a manuscript, book, newspaper, or pamphlet. Therefore, a vast majority of original prints have been over the years removed from these original sources. Prints are produced using many different techniques: relief printing (woodcut & wood engraving), intaglio printing (steel & copper plate engraving, drypoint, aquatint, etc), and planographic printing (lithography, serigraphy, inkjet, laser, etc.). While the commercial value of a print depends on such factors as age, rarity, and condition, the real value of a print is its tie to its history and/or its esthetic beauty. Bank of Reform, Alabama, vintage promo auto ice scraper

Bank of Reform, Alabama, vintage promo auto ice scraper. Here is a cute plastic windshield ice scraper that was given out at the bank. I know it must be vintage because it is stamped on the back – made in USA. Also, Alabama is abbreviated the old way instead of the two letter new way we use for mailing. I found this in a group of little advertising memorabilia from an auction. Someone must have collected these things. This one caught my eye because I wondered what a Bank of Reform was and then realized Reform must be the name of a town in Alabama. Well, I’m here in Virginia, and I can’t imagine anyone here might have an interest, so maybe someone on EBay who lives in Alabama might see this. You NEED this piece for your collection.
