This Medal is a really neat piece of banking memorabilia…it is a Lucky Penny from the First National Bank of Cherokee, IA which was established in 1872 and this medal/lucky penny is from the early 1920’s era, maybe 1922 for their 50th anniversary??? The medal is just about 3″ in diameter and shown next to a statehood quarter for reference…The medal on the front shows George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Woodrow Wilson…over the Statue of Liberty and Pilgrims and the like below etc….It does show some wear on rim and some scratches on back below bank name…Please look closely at condition…..email questions or info! This has got to be somewhat scarce…but we do not know the exact numbers made…Great piece!!
